Registration & payment

Main guidelines

Registration and payment of the conference fee can only be made from March 1st to April 30th 2017.

1) Visitors – Persons who just wish to attend some sessions without taking an active part in the program (that is to say persons who do not present a paper or a poster, nor participate in organized sessions, but simply wish to listen to some communications) can register as “Visitors”. This status grants access to the conference rooms as well as to the coffee breaks. Registration includes a conference package with a personal badge, a hard copy of the program, a notepad, pen, bag and mug.

The conference fee for Visitors is US$40.00. At the time of registration (or at any time before April 30th 2017), Visitors may also enroll in the Conference Dinner (US$40.00), book the Shuttle Service between selected hotels and the conference venue (US$60.00) and order hard copies of the book of abstracts, T-shirts, mugs, calendars and other souvenirs of the meeting at the Conference Shop. Payment will be made online, using either an international credit card or a PayPal account.

Visitors should fill the pre-registration form, from October 2016 to April 2017. Payment of the visitor conference fee will be made between March 1st and April 30th 2017. See deadlines and checklist.

2) Accepted Participants – People who submitted or were included in sessions, posters or papers for presentation during the conference and who have their proposals accepted. The proposal of sessions, papers and posters is open from October 1st 2016 to January 15th 2017. Acceptance notification will be sent up to February 15th 2017 and the preliminary program will be online on March 1st, 2017. Accepted participants should complete registration and fee payment from March 1st to April 30th 2017. Any person who does not complete registration and fee payment until April 30th will not be allowed to participate in the conference.

The Accepted Participant status grants access to the welcome cocktail, to the conference rooms as well as to the coffee breaks. Registration includes a conference package with a personal badge, a hard copy of the program, a notepad, pen, bag and mug.

Payment will be made online, using either an international credit card or a PayPal account.

ISHPSSB members get a discount when registering to the conference, as shown in the above table. To benefit from this discount, you must be an ISHPSSB member in good standing at the time of your registration (membership status will be checked when your payment of the registration fee is received). Be sure to join ISHPSSB or update your membership before registering. You may do so through the ISHPSSB membership page.

To benefit from the special reduced rate offered to students and post-doctoral fellows, students will be required, in addition, to show proof of their student status at the Conference registration desk (e.g. student card or proof of academic enrolment).

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a cancellation request is received in writing (by e-mail) before June 1st, 2017 (11:59 pm GMT), registration fees and conference dinner payments will be refunded, minus an administrative charge of US$40.00. There will be no refunds for cancellations made after June 1st, 2017. Requests for cancellation must be sent via e-mail to ISHPSSB.2017.cancel@gmail.com.
