Conference program

General schedule

The ISHPSSB & ABFHiB 2017 Meeting will begin on Sunday, July 16; it will end on Friday, July 21. The general schedule presented here does not show some specific activities of the Brazilian Association for Philosophy and History of Science (ABFHiB), that include the general meeting of affiliates. This activity will be disclosed in due course.

The final program will be published here on June 1st, 2017.


Registration: The conference Secretariat will be open on Sunday, July 16, from 1 p.m. onwards. Participants and visitors will receive the conference package, with a personal badge, a hard copy of the program, a notepad, pen, bag and mug. During the other days of the conference (from Monday to Friday), the conference Secretariat will be available during all day (including lunch time), beginning one hour (Monday and Tuesday) or half an hour (the other days) before the beginning of the first morning sessions. 

On Sunday, registration, the President's welcome and the cocktail will be held at a place to be announced, out of the campus of University of São Paulo. 

Most activities will be held at the Institute of Biosciences of the University of São Paulo, in many different rooms. The plenary sessions, however, will occur at theauditorium of the Architecture College, within walking distance of the Institute of Biosciences.
